About Us as a Church

S. Barnabas Roseneath is a community of Christ called to worship in the Catholic tradition of the Anglican Church.  We are a community where the Catholic traditions of the Church are valued highly and expressed throughout our worship and life together.  These traditions draw us into the mystery of worship and wonders of God's love for all his creations.

S.Barnabas Parish:

• has 60 regular attendees,
• attracts people from a wide area outside the local parish boundaries.
• Parishioners most value "traditional" styles of worship in the catholic tradition, wider community care and social justice,
  the Mass and preaching at Church services.
• 40% of parishioners are involved in a liturgical role in the Church. 
• There is a highly participatory approach to decision-making in the Parish.
• The parish has been slowly growing in the number of parishioners for the last few years.
